    Communication activities

In January 2017, the Silesian University of Technology became one of the first universities in Poland to receive the European Commission's HR Excellence in Research award (formerly the Logo). It thus joined the group of top universities that have taken appropriate measures to make the working conditions and careers of researchers more attractive. The distinction was awarded as part of the University's development of a strategic HR plan - Human Resources Strategy for Researchers - HRS4R.
The HR Excellence in Research award promotes Silesian University of Technology among international organisations and researchers as the university that offers the best opportunities for researchers to carry out research and development activities.

The Silesian University of Technology also carries out many other projects, including research grants funded by the European Commission. A full list of initiatives is available upon request.
