Perlego looks at becoming the world’s online learning library, a single place where all students no matter the
background and capabilities can immediately access content for less than the price of a single book, making education
finally accessible to all.
Billed as the “Spotify for textbooks”, Perlego offers unlimited access to academic e-books on a subscription basis, worldwide. Officially launched in December 2016, Perlego has since then already partnered with over 2900 publishers, including most of the leading companies to offer over 370,000 academic e-books available on various platforms, proving great interest from users.
Perlego enables students and universities to gain access to an ever growing online library of academic textbooks, for a third of the price of a single textbook per student, while redistributing royalties to publishers, allowing them to recover a portion of their revenues which is lost on secondary markets and piracy.

At the moment of registration in the Transparency Register, Perlego would like to contribute to the public consultation on the update Digital Education Action Plan that is only possible upon registration.
