Paebbl is a European founder-led startup in the emerging field of climate technology or the new “carbon economy”. Paebbl's mission is to permanently sequester as much CO2 as possible and repurpose it into products that the world needs. The technology is inspired by the natural process of CO2 mineralisation, and accelerates it by a factor of a million. The technology has been developed over the past 1.5 decades (with over 20 research papers written on the topic by our co-founder and CTO (Pol Knops), one of the most experienced mineralisation experts in Europe), and is now ready to be commercialised. While sequestering CO2, Paebbl aims to flip the CO2 equation of materials manufacturing, and we're committed to making that vision a reality. Paebbl is privately financed by leading climate-aligned long term oriented institutional and private investors. The team is from Sweden, Finland, and the Netherlands, and is diverse in terms of background, experience, gender, age, and nationality.
