Goals / Remit
Municipality Finance Plc, or MuniFin, is the second largest financial institution in Finland and the only one specialised in the financing and financial risk management of the Finnish public sector.
Our lending is offered exclusively to Finnish municipalities, their majority-owned companies, and non-profit housing companies. We are 100-percent owned by the Finnish public sector; the municipalities, the government of Finland and Keva, a public sector pension fund.
Our funding originates from international capital markets where we cooperate with a worldwide network of institutional partners and financial organisations. All of our funding is guaranteed by the Municipal Guarantee Board.
MuniFin's credit ratings are directly linked to those of the sovereign of Finland: Aa1 from Moody's and AA+ from Standard & Poor's.Main EU files targeted

Yhtiö ei ole minkään julkisen budjettirahoituksen piirissä. Kuntarahoitus ei toimi aktiivisena lobbaajana, vaan tapaa harvoin ja satunnaisesti yksittäisiä EU-virkamiehiä/-poliitiikkoja. Tämän vuoksi yhtiöllä ei ole budjettia lobbauskustannuksiin tai niitä koskevaa seurantaa, koska kustannukset ovat vähäiset.
