    Goals / Remit

    MiKK is a non-governmental organization (NGO). Since 2002, MiKK has been the leading, trailblazing organization in the field of mediation in cross-border family disputes & child abduction cases. MiKK is the leading training provider in this field. Other key areas of MiKK’s work include:
    ▣ Network of Cross-border Family Mediators (CBFM): MiKK has an active network of 200+ specialized MiKK-trained mediators, based in 40+ countries & mediate in 40+ languages. MiKK also has an international expert lawyers listing.
    ▣ Advice & Help for Parents: MiKK operates a multi-lingual (EN,DE,PL,FR,ES,HU) free-of-charge Advisory & Pre-Mediation Service for parents (EU & worldwide).
    ▣ CBFM Mediation Training: MiKK has delivered its 50-hour Cross-border Family Mediation Training for 14 years (in EN, DE) & has trained 472 mediators from 51 countries.
    ▣ Research, Development & Advocacy:MiKK has developed projects, trainings & best practices, working with judges, lawyers, Authorities & EU stakeholders
