Goals / Remit
Luonnonvarakeskus (Luke) on tutkimus- ja asiantuntijaorganisaatio, joka tuottaa uusia ratkaisuja biotalouden kestävään kehittämiseen ja uusien elinkeinojen edistämiseen, tavoitteena biotaloudelle rakentuva yhteiskunta. Rakennamme tutkimuksen ja asiantuntijatyön avulla hyvinvointia ja kestävää tulevaisuutta uusiutuvista luonnonvaroista. Tuotamme arvoa ja ratkaisuja asiakkaillemme niin Suomessa kuin globaalisti. Strategiamme keskiössä ovat biotalouden sopeutuminen ja palautumiskyky, ilmastoviisas hiilenkierto, biokiertotalous ja kannattava ja vastuullinen alkutuotanto. Toimintamme perustuu osaavaan henkilöstöön, moderneihin tutkimusympäristöihin, yhteistyöhön tieteiden ja toimialojen välillä sekä tietovarantojemme hyödyntämiseen. Arvopohjamme rakentuu yhteistyölle ja toisten arvostamiselle. Vastuullisuus ja kestävyyden tavoitteet kulkevat läpi kaiken toimintamme.
