    Luonnonvarakeskus (Luke) on tutkimus- ja asiantuntijaorganisaatio, joka tuottaa uusia ratkaisuja biotaloudenkestävään kehittämiseen ja uusien elinkeinojen edistämiseen, tavoitteena biotaloudelle rakentuva yhteiskunta.Rakennamme tutkimuksen ja asiantuntijatyön avulla hyvinvointia ja kestävää tulevaisuutta uusiutuvistaluonnonvaroista. Tuotamme arvoa ja ratkaisuja asiakkaillemme niin Suomessa kuin globaalisti. Strategiammekeskiössä ovat biotalouden sopeutuminen ja palautumiskyky, ilmastoviisas hiilenkierto, biokiertotalous ja kannattavaja vastuullinen alkutuotanto. Toimintamme perustuu osaavaan henkilöstöön, moderneihin tutkimusympäristöihin,yhteistyöhön tieteiden ja toimialojen välillä sekä tietovarantojemme hyödyntämiseen. Arvopohjamme rakentuuyhteistyölle ja toisten arvostamiselle. Vastuullisuus ja kestävyyden tavoitteet kulkevat läpi kaiken toimintamme.
