    The Lithuanian Farmers' Union (hereinafter - the Union) is independent organisation based on the voluntary membership principle, uniting the unions of farmers and persons related to and/or interested in farming, established to coordinate the activities of Union members, to represent and defend the interests of Union members and satisfy other public interests. The organisation operates in Lithuanian Republic, has a status of national non-governmental organisation (NGO)
