Goals / Remit
Legacoop is a political association without any commercial activity. Its goal is to support the economic, social and civil role of cooperative enterprises in the most dynamic and effective way. The association today brings together around 10 thousand cooperative enterprises, active in all regions of our country and in all sectors. Legacoop develops services and projects to promote the cooperative culture, affirming its distinctive values and supporting the ability to respond to people's needs. Legacoop is divided into sector associations and territorial associations, with their own regional and provincial offices. At the basis of its work, Legacoop places the will to contribute to the growth of a healthy and plural market, in harmony with a fair, clean society and through a democratic, viable and competitive form of enterprise, able to work for economic welfare, the quality of work, the environment and life, the care of people and the territory.
