Goals / Remit
Invest Europe is the association representing Europe’s private equity, venture capital and infrastructure sectors, as well as their investors.
Our membership covers the full range of private equity activity, from early-stage venture capital to the largest private equity firms, as well as funds investing in infrastructure. We also represent professional investors into these asset classes such as pension funds and insurance companies and have associate members from related professions. In total, the association is composed of 600 member firms and around 500 affiliate members.
Invest Europe aims to make a constructive contribution to the policy debate at European level, helping its members to understand EU policy, and policymakers across the EU institutions to understand the impacts of those policies on investment in those companies backed by private equity and infrastructure investors.
Invest Europe is the guardian of the industry’s professional standards.Main EU files targeted

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
