    La Asociación Instituto de Oficiales de Cumplimiento – IOC, se constituye en Madrid como ASOCIACIÓN sin ánimo de lucro, al amparo de la Ley Orgánica 1/2002, de 22 de marzo, reguladora del derecho de asociación, las normas concordantes que en cada momento le sean aplicables y por los Estatutos vigentes; con personalidad jurídica y plena capacidad de obrar.
    La Asociación tiene como fines:
    a) Promover en la Sociedad en general y en las Organizaciones en particular la profesión de Oficial de Cumplimiento como función clave del buen gobierno corporativo.
    b) Desarrollar y difundir la profesión de Oficial de Cumplimiento, así como a los profesionales que la ejercen, contribuyendo al éxito de las Organizaciones, la transparencia en los mercados, la defensa de los intereses de los accionistas, clientes y otros grupos de interés.
    c) Representar a los Oficiales de Cumplimiento ante organismos e instituciones nacionales e internacionales.
