    Communication activities

We developed the #FreeInterrail idea (the idea of free train tickets) as students in 2014 and promoted the program as independent authors and activists. In 2018, the EU Commission launched the first DiscoverEU pilot project. Today, the idea has been implemented as the DiscoverEU program as part of the Erasmus+ family.

As independent authors, we promote a sovereign, democratic, networked and self-confident EU. We do this with books (e.g. EuropeForFuture), newspaper articles (SPIEGEL, DIE ZEIT, Washington Post), policy papers (Charlemagne Prize Academy), readings and events.

As HeForShe Catalysts for UN Women and consultants in the field of gender equality, we give keynotes, trainings and lectures for large international companies, ministries and universities. This work with clients has no overlap with the EU institutions.

In the area of our mandate (<10,000) for Eurail, we support the further development of the DiscoverEU program to make it more inclusive, accessible, simple and future-oriented and have an exchange with EU Institutions.

    Meetings

    4 meetings found. Download meetings

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
