    Goals / Remit

    Der Handelsverband Deutschland - HDE - e. V. ist die Spitzenorganisation des deutschen Einzelhandels. Als Arbeitgeber- und Wirtschaftsverband ist er Stimme und Sprachrohr der gesamten Branche und steht mit seiner Mitgliedschaft für 75 Prozent des Einzelhandelsumsatzes in Deutschland. Der HDE vertritt die Interessen des Handels gegenüber der Politik, anderen Wirtschaftsbranchen und der Öffentlichkeit. Dabei wird der HDE mit Hauptsitz in Berlin und einem Büro in Brüssel durch ein flächendeckendes Netzwerk von Landes- und Regionalverbänden sowie durch Bundesfachverbände unterstützt. Als Arbeitgeberverband gestaltet der HDE gemeinsam mit seinem Sozialpartner aktiv die Beschäftigungsbedingungen in der Branche.
