(1) Zweck der Stiftung ist die Förderung des Umweltschutzes und des Klimaschutzes sowie die Förderung der Wissenschaft und Forschung.
(2) Die Zwecke werden verwirklicht durch Maßnahmen, die dazu dienen, die Herstellung und Verwendung des Grünen Wasserstoffs und anderer klimaneutraler Energieträger (klimaneut-raler oder defossilisierter Energieträger) auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene, auch in Ent-wicklungs- und Schwellenländern, zu fördern.
