Goals / Remit
GMWDA work with our nine District Council, and our Contract partner Viridor Laing (Greater Manchester) Ltd to deliver our Waste Management Strategy via the Contract with an aim to deliver 50% recycling in 2016/17 increasing to 60% by 2025, and diverting 85% of waste from landfill by 2017/18 the further increasing diversion beyong 90%
