    Goals / Remit

    The Portuguese Foundation "The Community Against AIDS" (FPCCSIDA) was constituted on 29
    December 1993 as a Private Non-profit Social Solidarity Institution (IPSS),
    having been specially created to:
    i) Provide Direct Support to People Living with HIV and affected by HIV/AIDS
    ii) Promote Information / Education for Health and HIV Prevention;
    iii) Collaborate in Scientific Research Projects in the Medical and Psychosocial area.
    FPCCSIDA is based in Lisbon and has six Delegations: one in the Northern Region (Porto), two in the Central Region (Coimbra and Seia), two in the South Region (Lisbon and Setúbal) and one in Madeira Island (Funchal)
