Goals / Remit
FinMobility actively influences EU legislation affecting the Finnish transport and mobility sector from the preparatory phase to final decision-making. Our primary objective is to bring the views, objectives and best practices of the Finnish mobility and transport sector to the EU level for discussion and decision-making.
While bringing FinMobility members' messages to EU procedures, we also provide up-to-date information from the EU level to our member organisations.Main EU files targeted
FinMobility monitors EU legislative processes, in particular in the areas of transport, logistics, mobility, environment and climate, social legislation, skills, data and digitalisation, and the sharing economy. FinMobility's monitoring and lobbying work covers all modes of transport, with a particular focus on road transport, both passenger (buses and taxis) and freight.
We also focus in depth on issues related to the automotive industry - in particular car trade and aftermarket - and industry and land transport infrastructure.Address

FinMobility works widely and transparently with the Brussels-based representatives of traffic sectors. Our key partners are the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU, authorities of different member states and the national and international business organisations. We also participate in the activities of our members’ umbrella organisations.
FinMobility cooperates in Brussels with the Federation of Finnish Enterprises (SY) and cooperates and shares the working premises with the EU office of Confederation of Finnish Industries’ (EK).- Meetings
Meetings
5 meetings found. Download meetings
The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
