    Communication activities

The Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs (FPP) maintains an active presence in EU policy communication through diverse channels and high-level engagement activities. In October 2023, FPP organized a significant international conference in the European Parliament, in collaboration with POLITICO, focusing on Europe's water crisis and the EU Blue Deal. This event brought together key stakeholders including representatives from the European Commission (DG ENVI), European Investment Bank, EurEau, and Members of the European Parliament. The conference was complemented by an impactful public awareness campaign near the European Parliament, highlighting future water scarcity scenarios.

Following this initiative, in February 2024, FPP co-organized the premiere screening of "To the Last Drop" documentary in the European Parliament, further advancing the discussion on water scarcity challenges in Europe. Our engagement in water policy continued through participation in Water Innovation Europe 2024, where FPP moderated crucial discussions on the socio-economic value of water and its contribution to EU strategic objectives.
In response to evolving EU customs legislation, FPP established a dedicated Customs Committee as a platform for dialogue on customs matters, particularly focusing on the EU Customs Code reform. This initiative facilitates regular stakeholder consultations and helps formulate comprehensive positions on EU legislative proposals affecting business operations.

FPP actively communicates its positions through formal submissions to EU institutions, media engagement, and analytical reports on EU policy impacts. We maintain strong cooperation with EU institutions, national authorities, and international organizations, notably working with development banks on financing water investments under the EU Blue Deal. Our communication strategy encompasses both policy advocacy and public awareness, ensuring that members' interests are effectively represented at all levels of EU decision-making.

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
