Complementary Information
According to the competencies required to fulfill its duties, ESF is organising a turnover of its staff to match its requirements. Moreover, as the activities develop, more people are only working part time on an annual basis on EC contracts, this explains the high level of people working only 25% their time on the register perimeter.

Other financial info
The costs do not include overheads. ESF is working 14 different H2020 EC projects in 2020, including important ones such as PRO-RES & GRAPHENE CORE 3, which implies a high level of staff costs. However, due to the COVID 19 crises, other costs drastically dropped due to the EC travel ban; indeed, ESF is usually responsible for the organization of a large number of worskshops & meetings which were held remotely in 2020.
ESF is developping partnership with funding organisation - mostly universities, public organisations or research funding organisations - to manage their Grant Evaluation, providing a conflict of interest free approach. -

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
