EUOTA has strong interest in participating in ECHA bodies and network, especially to be involved in BPC meetings for the preparation of guidance documents in relation to in situ substances, given that:

Most of EUOTA's activities are in relation with ECHA's activities in the areas of Biocides and REACH:
The members of EUOTA submitted an application for the approval of Ozone Generated from Oxygen in PTs 2, 4, 5 and 11 under the Biocidal Products Regulation;
EUOTA has significant technical and regulatory expertise that would be valuable for the preparation of the Biocide Guidance documents relating to in situ substances, in particular where a device is used to generate the substance;
The members of EUOTA participated in the recent CA meeting on in situ substances and have provided comments on the recently finalised CA paper (CA-July19-Doc.4.1).- Meetings
