Goals / Remit
Our Office represents the churches, missions and groups of Europe and West Asia.
Its purpose is to contribute to a sustainable improvement of individuals and society by the full implementation of the European and international human rights treaties, conventions and declarations, as well as by engaging institutional relations with the different EU bodies and agencies, and with like-minded actors and organizations.
We engage in monitoring EU activities while informing the national and regional churches of Scientology and communicating to the EU the views, opinions and assessments of our Church. The European Office of the Church of Scientology for Public Affairs and Human Rights supports the increase of transparency in the different levels of EU procedures and actions. Our office is involved in Art. 17.3 TFEU Dialogue contributes our views and experiences with a goal of contributing our positive experiences to the debate. Our actions are not partisan but for the common good.Main EU files targeted

Faith and Freedom Summit: practicing what we preach in Europe - This is an initiative with which we contribute to getting all members of the European Parliament to sign a pledge to defend FoRB of all individuals by rejecting and speaking out against bigotry, discrimination, harassment and violence; and also build a more equitable society for all.
