Goals / Remit
The European Games Developer Federation (EGDF) is committed to building a sustainable ecosystem and business environment where autonomous game developers in Europe thrive, in an operational, commercial, and artistic way. The EGDF will act to advance the political and economic interests of the European computer and video games industry by providing a platform for collaboration and discussion between European institutions and game developers.
EGDF unites national trade associations representing game developer studios based 21 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdoms. Altogether, through its members, EGDF represents more than 2500 game developer studios, most of them SMEs, employing more than 40000 people.Main EU files targeted
