    Goals / Remit

The "Federacion Europeenne des Victimes de la Route AISBL" was established in 1991, now registered in Belgium, and is an umbrella organisation of national associations advocating for road victims, supporting them and improving road safety. FEVR and its members are: to ensure the provision of emotional and practical help and support to road crash victims, and assistance with legal procedures and access to justice to contribute to road safety, to influence institutions and authorities to enforce road safety measures more effectively. FEVR has UN consultative status and attends relevant working parties, in particular the UNECE Working Party1 and the UN/WHO Road Safety Collaboration Forum. It champions their rights, represents their voice and campaigns for legislative improvements. In order to offer road victims the recognition so often denied them, FEVR established and promoted, since 1993, a common World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, brand WDoR.

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
