European Co-Processing Association

EUCOPRO is composed by Waste Treatment companies that prepare waste alternative fuels and raw material mainly from hazardous waste, with the aim of recovering them in co-processing processes, such as cement kilns.
Its main objectives are:
- Being associated in preparation for legislative, regulatory and/or standardisation measures with a link to the activities of Association members, and to monitor their implementation,
- Conducting or monitoring all studies with a link to the activities of association members,
- Defining the criteria for the best available technologies in a context of sustainable development,

- The European Green Deal (and its linked thematic such as Climate/Energy topics",..... ),
- Industrial Emissions regulatory topics (IED revision and E-PRTR revision), BREF review and implementation (mainly Waste Treatment BREF and Waste Incineration BREF),
- Waste regulatory topics included waste shipment regulation and Basel convention, the revision of the Waste Framework Directive, the POP's regulation,...
- Waste studies managed by the Commission linked with waste and/or Industrial Emissions topics,
- Circular economy and all the linked topics,
- Ressource and Energy strategies and efficiency topics,
- Pollutants release, and Micro-polluants topics such as endocrine disruptors, PFOS,....
- Seveso Directive and linked topics,
- REACH and CLP regulation topics,

No lobbyists with EP accreditations

Several people from EUCOPRO are involved in the activities listed in point 9 for part of their activities, mainly the Eucopro General secretary, the Eucopro chairman, and in some cases experts from the Eucopro dedicated WG (waste shipment, Waste treatment Bref,..). Contract has be developped with a consultant (Euralia).
