Goals / Remit
Eucomed has transferred all its activities, assets and liabilities into the MedTech Europe AiSBL new entity as from 1 January 2017.
As a pan-European trade and product association representing the medical technology manufacturers in Europe, Eucomed's mission is to make modern, innovative and reliable medical technology available to more people. In this sense, Eucomed aims to:
• promote the value and contribution of the healthcare industry and its products;
• anticipate and answer to the new business developments ;
• develop scientific expertise on questions of economic, professional and technical nature related to the medical technology industry ;
• collect, develop and communicate reliable data on a wide variety of issues to its members.Main EU files targeted
Files under the responsibility of the ENVI committee and DG SANTE and DG GROW, with particular focus on Medical Devices (e.g. Medical Devices regulation).
