Other financial info
The organisation is primarily funded by member company contributions and business sponsorship. These contributions continue to be adversely affected by the impact of the war in Ukraine, the need to defend against the invasion of its sovereign territory by Russia, and the very drastic effect this has had on the Ukrainian economy. The Council also pays for its major overheads in Kyiv in Ukraine. It does not have a physical office in Brussels, and therefore does not have high overhead or representative costs. It has a very modest budget when considered in comparison with a typical Brussels based NGO.

Communication activities
Organised parliamentary visits in London and in Brussels for Ukrainian regional councillors, senior Ukrainian politicians and member companies. Organised conferences and seminars in the Brussels Press Club and in the European Parliament.
Other activities
The organisation of round tables, conferences and workshops in Brussels, Kyiv and other European capitals to raise awareness of the business opportunities in EU-Ukraine trade, to promote the image of Ukraine and Ukrainian business, to help to solve market access difficulties and promote improved economic and market integration.
The primary role of the Council is to promote trade and investment between the EU and Ukraine, and in this context to encourage the greater economic integration of Ukraine in the EU’s Single Market. The single most important policy is the implementation of the EU Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Trade Agreement.
The Council is also an active supporter of the EU’s Danube Strategy.- Meetings

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
