    Goals / Remit

    SIMI je lidskoprávní organizace, která se problematikou uprchlictví, migrace a integrace zabývá 30 let. Máme expertizu ve všech oblastech cizineckého a uprchlického práva, disponujeme týmem specializovaných sociálních pracovníků a právníků.
    Poskytujeme bezplatné právní, sociální a psychosociální poradenství cizincům žijícím na území České republiky. Kromě přímé práce s migranty pracujeme s širokou veřejností s cílem rozvíjet toleranci, potírat xenofobii a rasismus. SIMI svou koncepční prací ovlivňuje legislativu v oblasti migrace a uprchlického práva. Podáváním podnětů, publikováním odborných článků, analýz a advokační prací usilujeme dlouhodobě o lepší a vstřícnější nastavení podmínek pro život cizinců na území České republiky a Evropské unie. Dlouhodobě se věnujeme problematice genderu a migrace, ochraně pracovních práv migrantů a migrantek, přístup ke spravedlnosti atd.

    Dlouhodobě se věnujeme připomínkování legislativy i praxe v oblasti azylu, migrace, integrace migrantů. Připomínkovali a účastnili se veřejných konzultací legislativy v této oblasti např.:
    - sankční směrnice
    - směrnice o jednotném povolení
    - migrační pakt EU a EU akční plán pro integraci a inkluzi
    - legislativu v oblasti rovnosti žen a mužů

    Pravidelně se účastníme schůzek se zástupci Evropské komise, rady či parlamentu, stálého zastoupení ČR atd.
    např. eurokomisařky pro vnitřní věci, spravedlnost, hodnoty a transparentnost, 4.5.2022 setkání s generální ředitelkou DG HOME
    V současné době se věnujeme připomínkování nastavování systému dočasné ochrany v EU - problematiku sloučení rodiny, registru a vývoji jednání v oblasti migračního paktu v souvislosti s českým předsednictvím.
    V roce 2023 jsem věnovali single permit directive, dočasné ochraně.
