Complementary Information
The budget indicated for European activities covers the cost of the person in charge of European affairs within FEPA (25% of his time maximum), plus in addition the membership fees to Cerame-Unie, the Federation of Ceramic Industries in Brussels. We consider as European activities the advocacy work towards the European bodies (EC, EP, and European Council) which does not exceed 25% of one person time a year. Other FEPA’s activities are information and support provided to the members to conform to European and national regulations, and to the other objectives of the Federation: ISO and CEN standards, users’ safety information. These are services and are not relevant for advocacy on European affairs.
