Goals / Remit
The Hydropower Equipment Association (HEA) is an international non-profit organisation based in Brussels and representing the interests of European turbine manufacturers for hydropower and the hydropower supply-chain industry. The main objective of HEA is to promote sustainable development and public acceptance of hydropower by participation in the public debate about development of energy supply strategies, taking full account of hydropower’s techno-economical, social environmental and political aspects, and by participating in coalitions promoting best practices in hydropower projects.
