Goals / Remit
Die Freie Universität Berlin wurde 1948 gegründet und ist eine von vier staatlichen Universitäten in Deutschlands Hauptstadt. Qua Berliner Hochschulgesetz ist die FUB u.a. auf folgende Ziele verpflichtet:
- Pflege und Entwicklung von Wissenschaft und Kunst durch Forschung, Lehre und Studium und der Vorbereitung auf berufliche Tätigkeiten.
- Erhaltung des demokratischen und sozialen Rechtsstaates und Beitrag zur Verwirklichung der verfassungsrechtlichen Wertentscheidungen.
