Vitartis was officially funded the 19th of May 2009. The Cluster is an Innovative Business Group with the main objective of increasing food industry competitiveness in the Region, by encouraging the innovation in every field and representing the sector´s interests in front of intitutions, public administration and economic and social organizations.
The main objectives of Vitartis are:
- To promote R&D& innovation in the food industry.
- To encourage the technology transfer to the agrofood sector among the partners.
- To lead cross-collaboration between science and industry
