Goals / Remit
The Deutsche Derivate Verband (DDV) represents 17 leading issuers of derivative securities in Germany. It was founded on 14 February 2008 and maintains offices in Frankfurt a. M. and Berlin. As a political interest group the DDV also operates in Brussels.
The DDV aims to promote the market for derivatives and increase acceptance of certificates, reverse convertibles and warrants in Germany. Furthermore, the DDV aims to protect investors and improve the transparency of the products and make them more readily understandable.
