Goals / Remit
As a Network, we collaborate to achieve the following:
1. To strengthen our own expertise by exchanging knowledge and sharing best practice;
2. To strengthen the EU approach on better regulation;
3. To inform other countries, particularly Member States/ EFTA States on the added value of external and independent IA scrutiny on national platforms, or through international organisations;
4. To advise our governments on the quality of EU impact assessments;
5. To advise our governments on possible reductions within the stock of EU legislation.Main EU files targeted
Currently, RegWatchEurope is particularly interested in the Better Regulation agenda of the Juncker Commission and the European Parliament.
