Goals / Remit
As a Producers Organisation, our compagny is responsible for management of fisheries and fish marketing arrangements under the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). LPDB Ltd represents more tahn 720 commercial boats based along the French North Sea, Channel and Atlantic coast lines.
Main EU files targeted
Our professional organisation is recognised as Producers Organisation by the Common Organisation of the Markets (CMO) in fishery products. In light of the role that it plays in the delivery of the CFP and the CMO, our organisation benefits from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), mainly to conduct these production and marketing plans and to manage the storage mechanism. Also, and as member of different advisory concils, our compagny works at the drafting and at the implementation of management plans. In managing fisheries, it is also involved in discussions on the technical measures regulations. In the coming weeks, my organisation could take part on the working groups organised about the Brexit consequencies in fishery.

In the coming months, our organisation will benefit from the EMFF for the preparation and the implementation of these Production and Marketing Plans for 2014-2020. Also, and until the 31st decembre 2018, we will be supported through the EMFF to ensure the storage mechanism planned by the CMO.
