Alticor Inc., parent company of Amway, was founded in 1959 and based in Ada, Michigan (USA) and reported global sales of $8.5 billion in 2020. Amway is a family-owned company with top-selling brands : NUTRILITE® vitamin, mineral and dietary supplements, ARTISTRY® skincare and colour cosmetics, and eSpring® water treatment systems among others. Amway wants both to sell its consumer products & to give the opportunity of supplmentary income to direct sellers creating their micro businesses in partnership with Amway.     Amway monitors a wide spectrum of issues and legislative developments at EU level related to our products range consumers issues or the internal market:
    1) upcoming revision of the misleading and comparative advertising directive , the guarantees directive and the unfair contract terms directive

    2) completion of the full harmonisation of the food supplements directive including other substances and maximum levels and of the nutritional and health claims regulation
    Another key area for AMway is EU-US trade relations including TTIP negotiations
