Goals / Remit
Sedigas has established itself as the representative body for the natural gas sector in the country and to become the interlocutor in this matter with national, regional and international authorities.
As well as, SEDIGAS aim to become a key player in promoting the use of natural gas.
in order to fulfill this goal, SEDIGAS promotes knowledge dissemination on technical matter regarding natural gas.Main EU files targeted
As a stakeholder, SEDIGAS monitors the initiatives that the Euroepa Union carries out on issues related to natural gas.

Climate change, biodiversity and sustainable development#As a stakeholder, SEDIGAS follows the activities of ITRE and ENVI.
SEDIGAS is included in Parlamento Europeo Daily Digest Bulletin´s list.
We are members of EUROGAS, Marcogas and IGU.Communication activities
Through out the year we organized several external meetings and publications at domestic level. the most relevant are: the Annual Meeting (around April every year) and the Annual Report (https://goo.gl/HEsXX7).
At European level we organized a meeting call "Sedigas en Bruselas". Typically is a lunch with Spanish EMP open to our member´s representatives to the European Union.
Through out the year we try to have different meetings with EMP and their teams, officials from the EC and other external stakeholder of interest for SEDIGAS.
