    Goals / Remit

    DTEK is a largest private energy company in Ukraine that is engaged in thermal power generation, renewables, mining, oil and gas production, electricity distribution and supply, energy trading, energy efficiency and energy innovation projects. In 2018 DTEK has committed to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. Since first hous of unprovoked military invation of russia to Ukraine, DTEK strongly stands on defending integrity and operation of the critical energy infrastructure in Ukraine. As post-war reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine, the company has already started to envisage significant investments into renewable sources of energy (30GW by 2030).

    DTEK has fully operational Brussels office since January 2011. Brussels Representative covers all operational issues and is in charge to represent the company before the European Institutions, with industry assosiations and with main stakeholders. There is one person based in Brussels and working full time on the topics covered by the Transparency Register. There are other managers based in the company's HQs in Kyiv who work on some topics related to the European Union energy and climate policies, stakeholder events and initiatives. With the European Green Deal more DTEK's managers get engaged with related topics, athough they mostly work on issues related on transposition of the EU legislative initiatives in Ukraine and on impact of such initiatives on Ukrainian energy sector.
