L’attività di Dompé è finalizzata alla ricerca e allo sviluppo di soluzioni terapeutiche biofarmaceutiche, attraverso la gestione diretta dell’intera filiera, dalla fase iniziale di ricerca di base e preclinica, fino alla produzione e commercializzazione finale. Il Biotech è concentrato sullo sviluppo di terapie per il trattamento di malattie rare a elevato impatto sociale. I principali ambiti terapeutici riguardano il dolore, l’infiammazione, l’oftalmologia, la diabetologia, l’alimentazione e l’oncologia.L’impegno di Dompé nel progresso della conoscenza scientifica si concretizza in pubblicazioni scientifiche di rilievo e nello sviluppo di collaborazioni con specifici centri di ricerca e università.
