Goals / Remit
Die GIZ bietet Dienstleistungen in der intern. Zusammenarbeit für nachhaltige Entwicklung und in der intern. Bildungsarbeit an. Unser Ziel ist es, einen entwicklungspolitischen Mehrwert zu schaffen, und zwar sowohl für unsere Auftraggeber als auch unsere Partner. Mit unserer Arbeit leisten wir einen Beitrag zu den SDGs der Agenda 2030. Wir arbeiten partnerschaftlich, wirtschaftlich und kostendeckend, aber ohne Gewinnabsichten. Die GIZ befindet sich im Besitz des Bundes und ist eine GmbH, die als gemeinnützig anerkannt ist. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Förderung der Allgemeinheit im Rahmen des Gesellschaftszwecks und nicht die Gewinnerzielungsabsicht. Die GIZ arbeitet stets im Interesse der deutschen Bundesregierung.

As a pillar assessed organisation, and under delegated cooperation arrangements, GIZ is accredited to manage EU funds set aside to support partner countries. GIZ implements these funds in the form of joint activities commissioned by the German government (via co-financing mechanisms).It also carries out EU commissions through GIZ International Services. The main policy areas where GIZ is involved and where it engages in close contacts with EU policy makers are among others: the MFF, NDICI, IPAIII, EPF, Global gateway.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice.
