    Goals / Remit

    O objetivo do CC RUP consiste em elaborar e contribuir com recomendações para a gestão das pescas, representando as partes interessadas, de modo a promover a concretização dos objetivos da Política Comum das Pescas (PCP), tal como descrito no Artigo 43, do Regulamento (UE) nº 1380/2013 do Parlamento Europeu e do Conselho;

    Tal será realizado no âmbito de um objetivo geral que procura promover a gestão sustentável das pescas, integrando uma abordagem de proximidade e ecossistemas, respeitando o princípio cautelar e considerando fatores económicos e sociais. Estas recomendações serão remetidas à Comissão Europeia e aos Estados-membros da União Europeia envolvidos, tal como estabelecido por este Conselho Consultivo.
