Clerens is specialised in advising different sizes of enterprises on business development opportunities with the European Union institutions. Marc Clerens started Clerens Consulting in 1991, after founding and directing for approximately 4 years, as Senior Director (Prokurist) of Siemens AG, Germany, the Siemens EU Liaison Office in Brussels. With the experience gained during this period he decided to start his own consulting activities. Consequently CC has over 25 years of experience in EU Affairs.
Amongst our clients we have and had industry associations, technology giants, small and medium enterprises and political foundations. We are on one side specialised in project lobbying, advising medium to large technology-related enterprises on business development opportunities with EU institutions; monitoring and identifying tendering opportunities; assistance during proposal preparation and follow-up lobbying. EASE supports the transition towards a sustainable, flexible and stable energy system in Europe 700,000€ - 799,999€ flow batteries europe Flow Batteries Europe bring together stakeholders across the entire flow battery value chain. Our vision is to accelerate the decarbonisation in Europe and globally by increasing the deployment of energy storage and flexibility solutions through flow battery applications. Our missions is to gather interested stakeholders to advance the research and development as well as the commercialisation and deployment of flow batteries in Europe. To achieve this, the Flow Batteries Europe will engage and promote flow batteries with European and other relevant organisations. 50,000€ - 99,999€ earpa EARPA is the association of automotive R&D organisations. It brings together the most prominent independent R&D providers in the automotive sector throughout Europe. Its membership counts at present 50 members ranging from large and small commercial organisations to national institutes and universities. EARPA, as the platform of automotive researchers, aims at actively contributing to the European Research Area and the future EU Framework Programmes. In this task, EARPA seeks a close cooperation with the automotive industry, the automotive suppliers, the oil industry as well as the European Institutions and the EU Member States. 50,000€ - 99,999€ bepa BEPA represents the battery R&I community. Most activities are guided by the MoU signed between BEPA and the European Commission. The main policy file of interest outside the scope of this MoU is the development of the new Framework Programme for research ("FP10"). 10,000€ - 24,999€ eswet ESWET is the association representing the European Suppliers of Waste-to-Energy Technology. Its main purpose is to promote the development and dissemination of Waste-to-Energy, and its role as a complementary tool to recycling in landfill diversion. ESWET seeks to raise awareness of the positive implications of the technology both for the environment and the production of energy.
