Naším posláním je pomoc lidem v tíživé sociální situaci, zdravotně postiženým a dlouhodobě nemocným, umírajícím, obětem domácího násilí, lidem postiženým živelními katastrofami nebo válečným konfliktem, a to v České republice i v zahraničí. V případě živelních pohrom a katastrof fungujeme jako součást integrovaného záchranného systému. Tlakem na změny v zákonech usilujeme o spravedlivější svět. Chráníme práva a důstojnost každého člověka bez ohledu na rasu nebo náboženství.
