    CIRAD is also a member of EURAGRI, the non-for-profit platform for leading European public research and innovation related organizations working in the agriculture, food, forestry and marine sectors.
    It is involved in the European Research Area Agricultural Research for Development (ARD) network, which funds projects on food safety, capacity building in the South, food supplies and energy.

    Communication activities

    As a leading European agricultural research for development player, CIRAD is committed to more sustainable agricultural and food systems that are resilient to global change, including climate change, while preserving biodiversity and natural resources.
    CIRAD is involved in communication activities relating to EU Research and innovation, as well as in international cooperation.
    As far as R&I is concerned, CIRAD participates in the AU-EU High Level Policy Dialogue on Science, Technology and Innovation and events that are associated with the HLPD.
    CIRAD also plays an active part in events relating to the "green" dimension of EU external policy. In particular, CIRAD has organised several InfoPoint events in relation to its priority areas of research.
