CENIBRA is a bleached eucalyptus kraft pulp producer, founded on September 13, 1973 in eastern Minas Gerais - Brasil. It is a privately-held company controlled by Japan Brazil Paper and Pulp Resources Development Co., Ltd. (JBP). The main stockholder of JPB is Oji Holdings Corporation. CENIBRA’s industrial plant capacity is1.2 million tons/year. CENIBRA manages 254,070.53 hectares of land in 54 municipalities. Out of this total, 131,092.57 hectares are used for eucalyptus plantations, 105,730.95 hectares for Permanent Preservation Area, Legal Reserve, and native vegetation, and 17,247.01 hectares for infrastructure and other uses.
