    Goals / Remit

    The Bulgarian Fintech Association is a non-governmental, for-impact organization uniting all interest parties in the sector of digital finance innovation, working from the region of Southeastern Europe (SEE). The association was established in the end of 2017 and for a little over 5 years it has attracted 72 member organizations, among which Paynetics, Nuvei, Varengold Bank, Paysera, Paysafe, Klear Lending, Mastercard, Postbank (Eurobank), Sofia University and others. At the moment we represent more than 8,400 employees in the Digital Finance sector in the region of Southeast Europe.

    Our ultimate goal is to establish Bulgaria as a leading Fintech Hub in the region of Southeastern Europe. Undoubtedly, this could only happen with a well-developed internal market, highly efficient and effective public institutions, and a well-developed educational system that maintains a rich talent pool able to answer the current business needs.
