Goals / Remit
ANIA, the Italian insurance association, was established in 1944. It is the representative body for mutual, cooperative and joint-stock insurance and reinsurance companies in Italy. It covers 85% of the Italian insurance market. The main objectives of ANIA are:
- to negotiate collective agreements with trade unions and to promote initiatives aimed at encouraging professional training;
- to carry out studies in order to solve problems dealing with techical, economic, financial and legislative matters and to perform information, advisory and assistance activities for members.Main EU files targeted
