Representar as empresas farmacêuticas associadas, ajudando-as no estudo e resolução dos problemas da produção e da importação de medicamentos e outros produtos farmacêuticos e de produtos fronteira com os medicamentos, e da produção de substâncias activas para uso em medicamentos, defendendo os respectivos interesses e, em geral, prosseguindo todas as actividades e finalidades que contribuam para o justo progresso das empresas associadas.
Promover o entendimento, a solidariedade e o apoio recíproco entre as empresas associadas, com vista a um melhor e mais eficaz exercício dos direitos e obrigações comuns.
Representar as empresas associadas junto da Administração Pública, das outras associações congéneres, nacionais ou estrangeiras, e das instituições representativas dos trabalhadores, com vista ao desenvolvimento socioeconómico do sector e do País e para resolução dos problemas comuns.Main EU files targeted
As principais propostas ou políticas legislativas da UE são: políticas da área da saúde, com especial medicamentos de uso humano, medicamentos veterinários, dispositivos médicos para diagnóstico in vitro, ensaios clínicos e farmacovigilância; propriedade industrial, com especial destaque para as patentes e certificados complementares de protecção; política relativa aos atrasos nos pagamentos e ambiente.
