Goals / Remit

ASN Bank is regarded a global leader in biodiversity footprinting in the financial sector. We have set an ambitious goal for 2030: to have a net positive effect on biodiversity with all our investments.
Please read more on this link: https://www.asnbank.nl/over-asn-bank/duurzaamheid/biodiversiteit/biodiversity-in-2030.html
ASN Bank have developed the BFFI methodology (Biodiversity Footprint Financial Institutions) and reports already for 5 years on its biodiversity footprint. We are showing that its possible to measure the impact on biodiversity as a financial institution. An important step that we need is compulsory reporting on the impact on biodiversity and the related risks by financial institutions. With the EU Community of Practice on Finance & Biodiversity we are working on proposed commitment by the financial sector on biodiversity towards the CBD COP in Kunming.Other activities

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
