    Goals / Remit

Arcada is a multi-professional university of applied sciences (UAS). It is a hub for research-based innovation where solutions for a sustainable society are co-created. We remain at the forefront within both teaching and research by working in close cooperation with the business community and public sector. A strong link between our research and teaching guarantees that our graduates are well equipped for the future demands of the labour market. As a result, Arcada ranks number one for two consecutive years in the annual comparison of UAS in Finland.

Arcada has for more than 20 years offered higher and further education training in Swedish, English and Finnish. Today some 2700 students are enrolled in our bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. On our modern campus in Helsinki, Finland, we host state of the art simulation labs, a music, TV and photo studio and a sports testing lab. Our departments reflect our core fields of expertise:

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
