Mission
Al Mezan’s mission is to promote the respect and protection of human rights, particularly economic, social and cultural rights, in the Gaza Strip as part of the occupied Palestinian territory, through research, legal intervention, advocacy and awareness-raising. Al Mezan carries out our work with a sound combination of professionalism and community participation. Al Mezan’s guiding principles include equal human worth and equal respect of all human rights, individual and collective, for all people as enshrined in international law and jurisprudence.
